Hey Everyone... I just wanted to take a little time to try and give ya'll a bit of an explanation about the price adjustments that are going into effect in April. In the beginning when the prices were set It was determined that a basic DJ stream (64kbps) was valued at $5. At that time the value of 1 Ray stayed around .10 and .090. Which set our Basic DJ stream at 50 rays. For those of you who may not be familiar with the Ray Exchange let me explain that a little. To find the cash value of 50 Rays you take the number of rays and multiply it by the Ray value (50 X .09 = $4.50) (50 X .10 = $5) Unfortunately, the last time I was actually able to sell rays at .095 was at the end of May in 2009. Since that time the value of Rays have been on a steady decline. In October 2009 they sold for .08, In December 2009 they sold for .075 and in the most recent months at .070. Which has taken the value of 50 rays down to $3.50 It was determined when we started to offer the Auto streams that to make ends meet we had to value the Basic Auto Stream at $15 which made it 150 Rays. In recent months with the ray value at .07 instead the $15 we needed they have brought in $10.50 I hope you all can understand that I have fought off these price adjustments as long as I possibly could. I hope you all will also understand that this is in no way, shape or form done out of greed. It is only out of necessity. I know how hard each and every one of you work. DJs and Club Owners alike. I have always tried my best to supply you all with the very best server at the very best price I could. I hope you can understand that my prices are not changing. I have only adjusted the ray prices to match the actual $ price that was set in the beginning. If you are not able to afford the ray adjustment and choose to get your stream from somewhere else. I want you to know that I will completely understand and that there will be no ill will I want to thank you for taking your time to read this.
